Homestead management
Balance food, wood, metal, money, tools, goods, livestock, buildings, housing, and labor.
How the game plays
Salt and Soil is a single-player historical roguelite colony sim where managing a homestead creates the dilemmas your family must face.
Wishlist on SteamYou assign scarce family labor, produce and trade resources, maintain housing and buildings, and decide what the homestead can risk. Farming, livestock, workshops, tools, goods, and money all compete for the same limited people and time.
At the end of each year, the Annual Family Council turns the exact campaign state into personal decisions. A shortage is not only a number: it can become debt, conflict, sacrifice, or a promise the next generation inherits.

Balance food, wood, metal, money, tools, goods, livestock, buildings, housing, and labor.
Relatives have relationships and priorities; they may argue with a plan instead of behaving like anonymous workers.

A new family head inherits skills, reputation, relationships, debts, property, and unfinished consequences.
